Design and Implementation of IoT-Based Energy Monitoring System on Solar Panels to Improve Household Power Consumption Efficiency

The utilization of renewable energy such as solar panels is increasing amid the issue of the global energy crisis. This research aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based energy monitoring system for household solar panel installations. The system uses current and voltage sensors integrated with an ESP32 microcontroller and is sent in real-time to the ThingSpeak platform for data analysis. Test results show the system is able to accurately monitor changes in power consumption with an error rate of less than 3%. The implementation of this system allows users to evaluate and manage electrical loads to improve power consumption efficiency
